West Ham completed the signing of highly promising Young Star winger Sean Moore-stirs excitement
West Ham completed the signing of highly promising Young Star winger Sean Moore, with ExWHUEmployee giving his thoughts on the new arrival.
Sean Moore is the most recent player to join the club from Northern Ireland; other Northern Irish players who have joined our renowned Academy of Football include Michael Forbes, Callum Marshall, Josh Briggs, and Patrick Kelly.
ExWHUEmployee first revealed in January that the club was interested in signing the highly coveted Republic of Ireland U19 international. The club has since confirmed that the deal has been finalized.
“It’s pretty amazing to sign a professional contract at West Ham United,” Moore said to the team’s official website. “I am overjoyed to be joining West Ham. It was an obvious choice for me because of how big the Club is.
“West Ham won the FA Youth Cup and the UEFA Europa Conference League last season, which was a fantastic accomplishment.
It’s also a family-friendly club. I’ve only heard positive things about West Ham. Josh Briggs, Patrick Kelly, and Callum Marshall, whom I know well, all gushed about how wonderful it is here.
Moore has a very bright future in East London, and Kenny Brown, academy manager and friend of The West Ham Way, rightly has great expectations for him.
“Sean is a dynamic, pacey winger who we have been monitoring over the past couple of years and one we believe has a really bright future in east London,” said Brown.
“We are thrilled to have Sean join our U21 squad here at Rush Green. He has been a prominent player for Cliftonville in Northern Ireland, and having just finished a successful season with them, we are excited to have him join.”
Ex also shared his opinions on the acquisition, noting that it wasn’t simple to sign Moore because so many other clubs were also interested in the young forward.
According to all accounts, I believe he is a terrific prospect, claimed our club insider. “I can’t say that I know too much about him, but I do know that we were able to secure his signature despite stiff competition.”
