This outstanding defensive back for Michigan football left Saturday’s game against Ohio State due to an injury. After winning, Sherrone Moore provided us with an update.
ANN ARBOR, Michigan: The tone was set yesterday in Michigan football’s 30-24 victory against No. 2 Ohio State by Will Johnson, a five-star prospect and true sophomore defensive back. Johnson intercepted Buckeye quarterback Kyle McCord early in the first quarter of “The Game,” giving the Maize and Blue the ball within the ten-yard line. Blake Corum’s touchdown run put Michigan ahead. Johnson later departed the game due to an injury; following the game, acting head coach Sherrone Moore provided additional details.
