‘Much more to come’: Johan Lange says Tottenham have a 22-year-old in their ranks destined for stardom
Radu Dragusin has been characterized by Tottenham Hotspur director Johan Lange as a player with “a lot of growth for the future.”
Speaking with the team that covers the club’s media, the head of the Spurs stated that the 22-year-old January addition still has “much more to come.”
Dragusin, an international player from Romania, chose to accept a £26.7 million contract with Tottenham over Bayern Munich.
According to GSP, Dragusin has reportedly signed to a £50,000-a-week contract at Tottenham that will expire in the summer of 2030.
He has made three substitute appearances for Spurs so far, and he will go up against Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven for the starting lineup.
Regarding Dragusin, Lange urged patience, stating that although he is a gifted player, Tottenham has to allow him more time to grow.
He said to the Spurs cameras, “We’ve seen Radu being very strong for Genoa over a long period of time,” as reported by football.london. “Although he just turned 22, he is incredibly powerful and quick in one-on-one combat.
“As a young player, he has a lot of room to grow. Once more, he has adapted to the club effectively, but in the upcoming years, there will be much more from him.

Under Mauricio Pochettino, Tottenham is infamous for going several transfer windows without adding a single player, so it’s encouraging to see them have two excellent windows in a row.
Spurs strengthened their squad considerably the previous summer, and in January they signed three players and were among the Premier League’s busiest teams.
Furthermore, Tottenham’s victory against Dragusin and Lucas Bergvall against teams like Bayern and Barcelona demonstrates how much more talent they have now than they may have had a few years ago.
