The 27-year-old’s performance in training has also been acknowledged by him.
Ange Postecoglou on Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma
“I previously heard about his talent, but I was surprised by his training regimen.
He was late the following morning, so I told him that a leader always arrives on time.
And ever since, he has behaved well. As a result, there are always lessons to be learned.
Yves Bissouma flourishing at Tottenham now
Yves Bissouma is currently flourishing under manager Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur and is performing exceptionally well.
Under former manager Antonio Conte last season, Bissouma had trouble getting regular playing time for Spurs.
Injury problems also existed.
In the summer of 2022, Bissouma made the switch from Tottenham to Premier League opponent Brighton & Hove Albion.
In the Premier League for Tottenham last year, the defensive midfielder made 10 starts and 13 substitute appearances.
The Mali defensive midfielder last season also made three substitute appearances for the North London team in the UEFA Champions League.
Right now, things are going nicely for both Bissouma and Spurs.
It will be intriguing to see if the defensive midfielder can continue to perform at his current high level in the upcoming days and weeks.
Tottenham’s primary goal for the current campaign is to place in the top four of the Premier League standings.
