Rodrigo Bentancur is not a risk that Tottenham Hotspur wants to take.

Tottenham Hotspur does not want to take any chances with the Uruguayan, therefore they do not anticipate Rodrigo Bentancur to return before his November estimate, according to the Athletic.

Bentancur hasn’t been able to work since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in February of this year. His return by November has long been anticipated.

The former Juventus midfielder was generally anticipated to be the club’s midfield leader prior to his injury. He was one of the few bright spots in Tottenham’s dismal season last year.

Since transferring to the N17, Bentancur has performed admirably for the North London team. What a great acquisition he has been. He was signed in January 2021 by the sporting director at the time, Fabio Paratici.

Bentancur’s return to the center of the field is something that Tottenham is very eager to see happen, and he reportedly wants it even more. He has reportedly been working hard in his workouts.

The club appears to have chosen against forcing the Uruguayan back into action before he has fully recovered from his current ailment, though sanity must prevail in such circumstances.

The idea of James Maddison playing in Tottenham’s midfield with Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma is quite appealing. The 26-year-old, however, cannot be rushed, so we must be patient while we wait for him.

Tottenham are not in any serious need of Bentancur’s return because of the remarkable levels displayed by Pape Matar Sarr and, to a lesser extent, Oliver Skipp. He can recover fully from his injuries and resume playing.

We won’t know how Bentancur recovers from his injury and whether he can regain his best form until later. Hope he can pull that off.

Richarlison and Son Heung-min do not appear to be able to play together, according to Louis Saha, who also pushed Tottenham to sign Ivan Toney in January.

Richarlison started the season as the nine player, but the Brazilian striker was scoreless in his first three outings.

Could Ivan Toney solve Tottenham’s problems?

The Brentford star, in Saha’s opinion, possesses all the qualities necessary to succeed at a team like Tottenham.

Ivan can adapt to any team, the Frenchman told Betfred when questioned about Spurs’ alleged interest in Toney. He has a very strong mind, so I have faith that he will make the best choice for himself.

Due to his strength and technical prowess, he can play for any squad. Ivan is incredibly mobile and possesses the necessary skills to play as a striker for any team.

“With so many alternatives available at the best teams, Manchester United definitely needs additional options up front. Ivan may possibly transfer to Tottenham because they need a striker because Son Heung-min and Richarlison’s current strikeforce combo isn’t very effective.

“All we know is that a lot of teams will be interested in signing him in January, and I’m sure he would be a key player at a big club rather than just being another member of the squad.”

Tottenham won’t try to sign Toney in January, I’m certain of that. For the time being, Postecoglou seems content with Son and Richarlison as his alternatives up front, therefore I do not anticipate Spurs to start shopping for a center-forward until next summer.
