Jurgen Klopp has received harsh criticism from Gary Neville after the Liverpool manager requested a rematch with Tottenham.

Given the extraordinary nature of the misunderstanding between the VAR and the on-field referee, which resulted in the decision to declare Luis Diaz offside, it is fair to assume that Liverpool had the sympathies of many neutrals at the beginning of the week.

Any goodwill the Reds may have had has now vanished, though, in the wake of Klopp’s ridiculous assertion that a rematch would be the only just result on Wednesday (Guardian).

Since then, numerous stories have made it quite clear that the Premier League will not even consider repeating the game, despite Liverpool’s attempts to exacerbate the situation (Football Insider).

Neville recently criticized Klopp’s remarks, claiming that the Merseyside team had snatched defeat from their grasp.

The ex-Manchester United player also called Liverpool’s statements regarding the officiating error “madness.”

It has been pretty illuminating to see how furious everyone connected to Liverpool is right now, especially their supporters.

Teams don’t always receive what they deserve in football, and bad judgments have long been a part of the game. It shows that something is fundamentally wrong with one’s relationship with the sport itself if they are unable to accept it and take the bad with the good.

Tottenham to welcome back star attacker for Luton Town clash amidst injury concerns

Son Heung-min, the club’s captain, is expected to be available for Tottenham Hotspur this weekend against Luton Town due to injury worries, according to Sky Sports’ Lyall Thomas.

In the second half of the match against Liverpool, which the Lilywhites ultimately won in highly contentious circumstances, the South Korean had to be hooked off. The club captain scored the game’s opening goal and played a key role once more.

Harry Kane, Tottenham’s talisman, left the club in the summer, but the club has barely noticed. The South Korean’s excellent performance in the role of number nine has been the key factor in this.

Given that he has experienced perhaps his worst campaign at N17 since arriving from Bayer Leverkusen, it would be reasonable if some Tottenham supporters had their reservations about his capacity to recover.

The saying “form is temporary, but class is permanent” is true, and Son is undoubtedly demonstrating that this season. The two have established such an excellent partnership from the start, along with Madison.

It was understandable that the North London club supporters were alarmed when Son Heung-min hobbled off against Liverpool. He is anticipated to play this weekend despite having a problem.

Given that Ivan Perisic, Brennan Johnson, and Manor Solomon are all out due to injuries, it seems sense that Tottenham wants Son to play against Luton. Bryan Gil himself is still hesitant to go back.

Having said that, we must be careful because playing a Son who isn’t entirely healthy could result in a prolonged absence for him, something we cannot afford. The Tottenham captain is 31 years old and not getting any younger, so injuries would require much more time to heal.
