Report: Strange reason Heung-min Son refuses to hold fan’s phone for selfie
Son Heung-min was reportedly observed refusing to touch a fan’s iPhone because of his sponsorship deal with Samsung, according to The Daily Mail.
A fan offers their iPhone to the Tottenham star in a TikTok video that has gone viral, so they may snap a selfie together.
Son put his hands together regretfully to say that he couldn’t take the photo after realizing what Mom was asking him to hold.
The new captain of Tottenham is then shown accepting a fan’s offer of a phone and taking a selfie while using it in the video.
Heung-min Son is serious about the Samsung contract.
Son is a South Korean megastar, thus the video instantly went viral. The Mail has now clarified why the forward initially declined the selfie.
The article claims that the Spurs player signed on as a brand ambassador for Samsung earlier this summer, and that he is prohibited by the terms of that agreement from publicly endorsing any other brand.
Son will need to be careful about this considering how many requests for selfies he receives, especially when he is back in his own country.

Yves Bissouma flourishing at Tottenham now
Yves Bissouma is currently flourishing under manager Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham Hotspur and is performing exceptionally well.
Under former manager Antonio Conte last season, Bissouma had trouble getting regular playing time for Spurs.
Injury problems also existed.
In the summer of 2022, Bissouma made the switch from Tottenham to Premier League opponent Brighton & Hove Albion.
In the Premier League for Tottenham last year, the defensive midfielder made 10 starts and 13 substitute appearances.
The Mali defensive midfielder last season also made three substitute appearances for the North London team in the UEFA Champions League.
Right now, things are going nicely for both Bissouma and Spurs.
It will be intriguing to see if the defensive midfielder can continue to perform at his current high level in the upcoming days and weeks.
Tottenham’s primary goal for the current campaign is to place in the top four of the Premier League standings.
