’THIS IS GOING TO GET DONE’: TOTTENHAM SENT TRANSFER MESSAGE ABOUT ‘WORLD CLASS’ STAR

Ale Moreno thinks Harry Kane needs to come out in public and address his Tottenham Hotspur future amid transfer links to Bayern Munich.

The England captain has done this before, when he was linked with Manchester City, but that talk come out at the end of the window when he knew there wasn’t a chance of him leaving.

But with Bayern Munich’s honorary president Uli Hoeness publicly stating that Harry Kane wants to join the German giants, then Moreno feels he needs to either shut those up or ‘entertain the idea’ that he is actually willing to go.

Either way, the ESPN pundit thinks the 29-year-old will head for the Tottenham exit door this summer because ‘it seems like this is going to get done’ – Luke Shaw recently expressed how he would like his ‘world class’ countryman at Old Trafford.

This is where Daniel Levy can start to win over some of his fans. There were many anti-Levy and ENIC chants last season.

But be ruthless and stubborn in making sure Kane stays put, then many of those fans will start to applaud Levy.

“Harry Kane is the one who could put an end to this story, this conversation and this rhetoric,” said Moreno.

“He can come out and say, ‘no, look, I am with Spurs, through and through. I am under contract with Spurs. This is where I want to be, this is where I want to play’, if that’s indeed the case.

“If that’s not the case, and where you want to go is Bayern Munich, then you can also come out and say that or entertain the idea or float it out there that this is what your intention is.

“Eventually it seems like this is going to get done, but it’s dependent on Harry Kane and him pushing through. I think that’s why Hoeness comes out and says, not once but twice, ‘he has put promises on the table and if he keeps his word, then everything is good. Nothing to see here’.”

If Kane is sold…

That’s a scenario no Tottenham fan wants, but if it’s going to happen, then it has to happen now.

That way, it will allow the club to plan for the new season ahead, bring in replacements across the pitch and allow Ange Postecoglou to work his magic without the club’s goalscoring machine.

But surely, as the new season nears, if Kane is still in London, then Spurs can’t let him go even if £150 million is put on the table because they can’t afford to let him go by the time the season starts because it will eat them alive, otherwise.
