According to a Danish newspaper, Tottenham Hotspur has entered the race for FC Copenhagen’s Roony Bardghji.

This season, the winger has made 11 goals in 30 appearances, including the game-winning goal against Manchester United in the Champions League last month.

Tottenham is among the elite European clubs that have been closely monitoring Bardghji, according to BT state.

The north London team is reportedly a “big suitor” of the 18-year-old and is anticipated to challenge Chelsea for his contract.

The contract with the Sweden U21 international ends in December 2025. Copenhagen is dreaming of a club record sale, which is presently held by Victor Kristiansen’s sale to Leicester City for 150 million kroner [€20.1 million], due to the possibility of a bidding battle between the Premier League pair.

The attacker, according to BT, may set a new record for the Superliga, surpassing the 187 million kroner (€25 million) Lyon paid to recruit Ernest Nuamah earlier this year.

Copenhagen has pushed back the renewal negotiations, with an eye on “making a huge sale” in the upcoming two windows.

Tottenham is expressing interest in the attacker, and the Danish team is rubbing its hands at the prospect of a bidding war with their London rival.

According to his Instagram profile, the footballer is in London “these days,” however BT notes that they are unsure if this is related to his possible move to England.
