Summer transfer target admits he is a Tottenham Hotspur fan
After years of rumors, Alex Scott may not have joined Tottenham Hotspur this summer, but the Bournemouth sensation has now admitted that he has always been a Spurs fan.
Alex Scott gained notoriety in the Championship with Bristol City, and in the last few years, several elite teams, including Tottenham, have been vying for his services (Ben Jacobs – Chris Cowlin’s YouTube channel).
Before leaving the Robins, Scott made 91 appearances, recording seven assists and six goals in all competitions (Transfermarkt).
The young player was ultimately bound for the Premier League this summer, and although Spurs appeared to be in the running, Bournemouth ultimately emerged victorious in the competition for the highly-regarded 20-year-old.
Prior to the Premier League season commencing, Scott agreed to a £25 million contract with the Cherries (Guardian); however, due to injury concerns, the playmaker has only made four appearances across all competitions this season (Transfermarkt).
Though Spurs supporters will be pleased to know that another fan is prepared to join their ranks, there is undoubtedly more to come from the potential talent.
Alex Scott is a Spurs fan
Alex Scott was questioned about his football background and, more specifically, whose football team he actually supports during an interview on the Filthy Fellas podcast. It turns out that he is a covert Lilywhites fan.
Scott answered the question by saying, “Tottenham. My passion has always been the Spurs.
It is indisputable that Spurs are a huge team, despite the frequent claims to the contrary. Everyone genuinely adores Tottenham Hotspur, from Adele to Tom Holland to current players like Alex Scott. It’s about time the rest of the world acknowledged that we are the greatest team.
When I say this, I really do see Alex Scott joining Spurs in the future, provided his career at Bournemouth develops as I believe it will.
