Report:Forgotten Injured Spurs defender seen training at Hotspur Way with team-mates

Summertime acquisition The Tottenham team’s most recent training video, which was posted on the social media site X, has Ashley Phillips and his teammates going through a workout.

Over the past few days, there have been some encouraging advancements regarding injuries. Brendan Johnson, who left the game against Nottingham Forest due to a head injury, is anticipated to play against Everton after being seen practicing with the team (Sky Sports).

Regarding two long-term absences, there have also been some encouraging updates. According to a recent article from Football Insider, Ryan Sessegnon and Micky van de Ven should return to action in January.

Ashley Phillips is on the comeback from injury

Since the international break last month, Phillips, who transferred from Blackburn Rovers to the North Londoners, has been sidelined due to an ankle ailment.

Although the 18-year-old has not yet made his Spurs senior debut, Ange Postecoglou has already placed him on the bench several times before his injury problems.

The teenager was spotted warming up in the Hotspur Way gym with the rest of the Tottenham team, suggesting that a comeback is now imminent.

Due to Udogie’s ban for the match against Everton, Ben Davies may start at left defense, which may allow Phillips, if the 18-year-old is cleared to play, to start with Romero at center defense.

That is highly doubtful, though, as Postecoglou would almost certainly opt to start Emerson Royal—who has more experience—instead of Udogie.

The 18-year-old Ajax midfielder is highly regarded for his ability to play both in the midfield and on offense.

Tottenham is drawn to him because of his versatility as they try to add players to their roster in the forthcoming transfer window. He has played five different positions already this season. In addition to playing center midfield, he has also played offensive midfield, left wing, right wing, and center forward. This season, he has made 11 appearances and scored 3 goals.
