Report: Real Madrid think player Tottenham signed for £39m is now one of the best in the world
Pedro Porro, a defender for Tottenham Hotspur, has been improving at N17.
The 24-year-old originally signed a permanent deal with Spurs for £39 million in the summer after first joining on loan from Sporting Lisbon in January.
Porro needed some time to settle in at Tottenham, but he’s already flying high in the daring attire of Ange Postecoglou.
With 15 Premier League games this season, the Spain international has six assists, four of which have come in the previous five Spurs games.
According to a Bernabeu Digital source, Real Madrid is getting more and more devastated over losing out on Porro to Tottenham this season.
For the “not very high amount” that Spurs ultimately paid for the player, it seems that they were eager to sign him.
But Tottenham moved in and acquired Porro when the Real board decided they were content with Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vazquez.
That has paid off nicely for Spurs, as BD claims he is currently “among the best right-backs in the world.”
Considering that he’s “not in one of the best clubs in Europe,” his performances for Tottenham have reportedly been “spectacular,” which is extremely noteworthy.
Crucially, it doesn’t appear like Los Blancos will make an attempt to acquire Porro anytime soon. They believe that making a move on him right now is “a thing of the past.”
Tottenham strike gold with Pedro Porro and other top talents
Tottenham has undoubtedly had a lot of success in recent years.
In addition to acquiring Porro, Spurs also had great success in acquiring players such Pape Matar Sarr and Destiny Udogie.
As we’ve seen in recent weeks with the injury issue, there will definitely be some hiccups along the way, but Ange Postecoglou is creating something really unique at N17.

Micky van de Ven and James Maddison react after Destiny Udogie signs new Tottenham contract
Destiny Udogie was acquired by Tottenham from Udinese last year for a £15 million signing bonus (Sky Sports).
After spending a season on loan at Stadio Friuli, the Italian was sent back, but ever then, Udogie has been on par with the Premier League’s top left-backs.He was even likened to Patrice Evra by Gary Neville.
For Spurs supporters, the 21-year-old at left back has been a welcome change of pace. Tottenham is a very dangerous team because of his aggressive runs and quickness with the ball.
After observing Udogie’s performances, Daniel Levy and company moved quickly to give him a new contract in order to preserve his worth.
For Tottenham fans, this is fantastic news as the Italian has now signed a new contract that will keep him committed until the summer of 2030.
Yesterday, Udogie celebrated his new deal by posting on Instagram. Both Micky van de Ven and James Maddison are happy for him.
“Fully deserved, brother!” the Englishman wrote. Avoid using it all at once.
“Yesss broerrr!” Van de Ven continued.
Great news for Tottenham
Although Tottenham supporters frequently and rightfully criticize Daniel Levy, he should be commended for ensuring Destiny Udogie’s long-term future.
The Italian has the capacity to rank among the world’s top left backs. Even though he is only 21 years old, he will only develop better under Postecoglou in the years to come.
We’re confident that major teams would be vying for Udogie’s signature if he only had a year or two remaining on his deal.
Tottenham is in a good position and won’t be losing him at all, even for a cheap sum, now that he is contracted until 2030.
