Rumors about the Steelers: Russell Wilson met with the PIT in a “great” way during NFL free agency.
Days after it was revealed that quarterback Russell Wilson will be released by the Denver Broncos,

the pending free agent had a “great meeting” with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Josina Anderson of CBS Sports reports.

Anderson stated that Wilson spoke “for hours” on Friday with Arthur Smith, the offensive coordinator for the Steelers.

She also said that prior to the meeting, Wilson had contacted a few Steelers players.
Wilson will be benched for the final two games of his Broncos career, and Denver intends to pay $85 million in dead cap to get rid of Wilson on March 13.

Wilson had a 7-8 record at the end of the season despite throwing for 3,070 yards, 26 touchdowns, and eight interceptions.
