Texas quarterback Arch Manning, one of the most highly-touted young football players in the nation, saw his first action with the Longhorns during Saturday’s Orange-White spring game.
Arch is the son of Cooper Manning, the older brother of retired NFL quarterbacks Peyton and Eli Manning. Arch’s paternal grandfather, Archie Manning, was an NFL quarterback from 1971 to 1984.
Manning completed less than half his pass attempts (5 of 13) for only 30 passing yards in Saturday’s action.

Manning attends Isidore Newman School in New Orleans, Louisiana. The No. 1 recruit of the 2023 class announced his intentions to join the Longhorns last June. Peyton and Eli attended Tennessee and Ole Miss, respectively.
Cooper, who also attended Isidore Newman High, was a star wide receiver in high school and planned to attend Ole Miss. Unfortunately, he was later diagnosed with spinal stenosis and had to step away from football permanently.
Peyton and Eli each went on to win two Super Bowl rings in their careers. The older Manning won it all with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos in 2006 and 2015, respectively. Eli won rings with the New York Giants.
