‘Difficult to defend’ – Guardiola praises one Tottenham star for his attacking prowess
Pep Guardiola said that he cannot be too critical of his teammates’ play in resulting in Tottenham’s equalizer in the ninetieth minute, saying that Brennan Johnson’s cross was hard to stop.

Regarding Tottenham’s equalizer, Guardiola said on City’s official channel: “It was a good action.” Johnson performed a great action, and it is very hard to defend this play from a full-back on the other side.
“Juan [Alvarez] should keep the ball and instead pass to Erling [Haaland], but it doesn’t happen. Kulusevski attacked the ball, and on the second ball they made good high pressing.”
With City all over us like a rash in the first half, it would have been simple for the players to lose their minds. Their heads might have lowered following Yves Bissouma’s error that allowed Jack Grealish to score in the 81st minute.
