“Didn’t enjoy it’: £25m player says he really wasn’t happy after signing for Tottenham

This season, Ange Postecoglou has changed a lot of Tottenham players.

In addition to Ricketts, Pedro Porro, and Heung-Min Son performing far better than they did in the previous season, Yves Bissouma’s recent play has been very different from that of the previous one.

Yes, Bissouma has significantly improved.

Speaking about his feelings at Tottenham, Bissouma says he’s currently really happy at Spurs, saying that he’s finally being allowed to play football, in an interview with the Ballroom Podcast.

Gaetan Bong, the podcast host, then talked about Bissouma’s satisfaction at Spurs in the previous campaign. The £25 million midfielder acknowledged that he wasn’t happy in his debut campaign at Tottenham.

Bissouma didn’t enjoy his first year at Spurs

The midfielder discussed his debut season at Spurs with his former Brighton teammate.

“I’m truly delighted that I can now play football,” Bissouma remarked.

“This is the link; while you remained silent, understand what you’re saying.

You didn’t say it, but get the impression that you didn’t enjoy it last year. Am correct in thinking this? want everyone to know how much know this person. Bissouma was asked.

Yes, you’re correct, Bissouma replied. “I am aware of the football style you enjoy, the manager you like, and the individuals who think highly of you and declare you  the greatest—those who think you’re insane, my friend,” Bong remarked.

Can’t blame him

It’s really not fair to say that Bissouma had a miserable first season at Tottenham.

Under Antonio Conte, the midfield player was not let to express himself freely; he was expected to be a pragmatic, which was never going to work.

Fortunately, under Ange Postecoglou, Bissouma has found his game again, and he’s been among the Spurs’ finest players this year.

It is best to keep talk of Tottenham’s Antonio Conte tenure quiet.
