Sam Howell is an American football player who plays the quarterback position.

He is presently the starting quarterback for the Seattle  Seahawks in the NFL. Howell was drafted by the Seattle  Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft despite the common opinion that he would be selected much higher up in the draft.

 

After being a third-string quarterback for the entirety of his rookie season, Howell has taken the reins of the Seahawks offense this season.
