Real Madrid is now regretting the uncommon error of passing up the chance to sign a gifted player.

The club deeply regrets not signing Tottenham fullback Pedro Porro, according to the Bernabeu Digital report.

According to the report, Porro was interested in joining Los Blancos from Sporting prior to his transfer to Spurs, and at one point, they may have done so for as little as €40 million.

The board of Madrid chose to stick with Dani Carvajal and Lucas Vazquez, which gave Spurs the opportunity to make a move for Porro.
