With Micky van de Ven recently returning from injury and Ben Davies and Cristian Romero both sidelined, Spurs supporters will be hopeful that the team’s newest addition will be fit for this weekend’s matchup with Manchester United.
In his most recent report, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the specifics of the agreement to bring Dragusin to North London. The transfer is set to cost £21.5 million, with an additional £4.3 million. But as of this writing, the signing had not yet been formally announced.

Can Dragusin thus play on Sunday? It will eventually come down to the wire at this rate. According to Premier League regulations, in order to participate in the weekend’s games, a new player must register by Friday, January 12 at noon.
Spurs should have enough time to handle the required paperwork and get Dragusin set up for Sunday’s game if they plan to make the announcement to the world on Thursday, January 11.
But there’s a danger Dragusin won’t be prepared if there are any further delays that force us into Friday. Furthermore, he will need to train with his new colleagues, which is something to take into account.
I don’t anticipate the procedure taking too long from here on out, so perhaps we can have Dragusin registered and signed up before the deadline. But Postecoglou might not want to start him in the starting lineup, and the lack of training time will be a worry.
