Armando Bacot is trying to get a former Duke basketball player to transfer to UNC.

Can you possibly imagine a player transferring from the Duke basketball program to North Carolina? Or vice versa?

Well, not only is Armando Bacot trying to get a former Blue Devil to become a Tar Heel, but he is trying to get Michael Savarino, Mike Krzyzewski’s grandson, to make the trip to Chapel Hill.

It was reported earlier in the week that Savarino, a Duke walk-on turned scholarship player, would be entering the transfer portal upon his graduation, and he confirmed that later Tuesday night on social media.

It did not take long for the Tar Heel star to make his pitch to the former Blue Devil.
