The Spaniard has given the Tottenham assault a fresh perspective moving forward, and it is evident that he is getting better defensively as well.

He has the potential to become one of the league’s top full-backs, no question about it.

It appears that Postecoglou’s system may bring out the best in him in the upcoming months, as he has four assists in his previous five games.

The striker has dropped a significant clue regarding his future, according to Bild, which may help Tottenham’s prospects of acquiring Guirassy.

Following Stuttgart’s 2-0 victory against Borussia Dortmund in the DFB-Pokal semifinal on Thursday, in which the 27-year-old scored the first goal for his team in the 54th minute, he is said to have spoken to the supporters at the MHP Arena using “very personal words.”

According to the magazine, Guirassy “almost sounded like farewell words” when he said “thank you for everything” to the Stuttgart supporters following the final whistle.

Given Guirassy’s cheap release clause and alluring qualities, I have no doubt that a number of European teams would have reached out to his representative regarding a January transfer.
