Tottenham could help Man Utd seal Jadon Sancho transfer exit as new target emerges

Although Jadon Sancho has been placed on the transfer list by Manchester United, his prospective January exit might force suitors to find other sources of funding.

In the event that Juventus’ pursuit of Jadon Sancho is contingent upon the Italian team obtaining funding from other sources, the Tottenham purchase of Samuel Iling-Junior may potentially trigger a series of transfer events.

Sancho, a talented player for Manchester United, hasn’t played for his team since August due to a highly publicized argument with manager Erik ten Hag.The 23-year-old has been linked to a number of teams, including Al-Ettifaq of Saudi Arabia, Borussia Dortmund, and Juventus, but his exorbitant salary may prove to be a problem.

The largest barrier to a loan agreement seems to be Sancho’s salary of about £17.4 million, and it’s not clear how much United would want to pay the winger while he plays away from Old Trafford. Interestingly, Juventus is rumored to be asking for Iling-Junior for little less than that sum.

Calciomercato (via Football Italia) reports that Juventus is willing to take a bid of about £15.5 million for England under-21 player Iling-Junior. Despite just making four Serie A appearances this season, the former Chelsea youth player scored his first goal as a senior for the team last season.

Spurs have previously shown interest in Juventus players, so it wouldn’t be the first time they tried their luck with Iling-Junior. In January 2022, the London team made a double move for Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski; under Ange Postecoglou, the two Antonio Conte acquisitions are still in the picture.

According to the same Calciomercato story, the Bianconeri are eager to generate money for additional midfield players. But the Sancho connections are also here to stay.

“It is my responsibility to set the standards. There has never been a single mistake; instead, there is a lengthy process involved before you arrive at a decision on rigid boundaries. If there is a system requiring employees, players, or anybody else to cross boundaries, you must Be powerful, without a doubt.”
