According to journalist Paolo Bargiggia on TV Play’s La Domenica Esplosiva (quoted by Sport Witness), AC Milan’s primary rival for Bournemouth center-back Lloyd Kelly is Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs Web has reported on a number of stories in the past month that support Tottenham’s decision to rekindle their interest in Kelly following their summertime pass on the center back (GiveMeSport).

The 25-year-old is reportedly being eyed by a number of teams, including Liverpool (Football Insider) and Arsenal (Tuttosport). However, it seems that Italy is showing the most serious interest in the defender (Fabrizio Romano), with both Juventus and Milan reportedly considering January moves for him.

The Englishman’s deal at Vitality Stadium expires in the summer of 2019, and it was recently reported that the Rossoneri are eager to sign the player and are willing to wait until then to do so on a free transfer (TMW).

AC Milan to do battle with Spurs for Lloyd Kelly

Prior to January, Bargiggia has now reaffirmed that a center-back is Milan’s top priority, and the Serie A team is anticipated to move quickly to acquire Kelly.

He says that considering the defender’s contract situation, the Cherries would be willing to sell him for €18 million (£15.7 million).

He does, however, note that Tottenham will be “above all” in the “very fierce” competition Stefano Pioli’s team will face for the center back position.

Kelly would probably much rather move to the North London side if given the option between Milan and Tottenham. The key query is whether Spurs or any other team is willing to spend between £15 and £20 million for a player whose contract only expires in six months.

According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, and Chelsea are now in the running for Evan Ferguson’s signature.

Because of his all-around skill, Ferguson, 19, is regarded as a future basketball superstar by many. His all-around game has even led to comparisons to Harry Kane (The Athletic).

The teenager is thought to be Spurs’ heir apparent to Kane, according to numerous reports in recent weeks. However, the North London team would need to pay a huge fee to acquire the center-forward, as he recently signed a new contract at the Amex Stadium that extends until 2025 (talkSPORT).

Chelsea and Arsenal enter the race for Ferguson

TEAMtalk has now claimed that Arsenal and Chelsea have entered the race to sign Ferguson, with both London teams reportedly eager to bolster their squads with a number nine.

According to the report, Chelsea’s frontline will be strengthened by the teenager, and Mauricio Pochettino has identified him as such. The Blues are reportedly willing to wait for their man.

Meanwhile, it’s said that Arsenal has been keeping a close eye on the young player and is desperate to sign him before their rivals.

According to the report, Brighton believes that the Republic of Ireland is worth over £100 million internationally. The South Coast club is even hopeful that they can sell the striker for more money than the British record of £115 million they received for Moises Caicedo.

Ferguson is a very well-rounded center-forward with virtually no weaknesses in his game, which puts him on the radar of all the best clubs in the Premier League and throughout Europe.

Spurs, however, no longer stand a realistic chance of winning the 19-year-old’s contract because Brighton will undoubtedly demand more than £100 million for the player.
