“I love him”, “breath of fresh air” – Ex United player expresses his admiration for refreshing Tottenham figure

Phil Neville, a former player for Manchester United, has praised Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, calling him a “breath of fresh air.”

Prior to Tottenham’s matchup with Fulham on NBC Sports, Neville made his remarks.

Postecoglou was praised by Neville for his sincerity and the beneficial effect he has had on the team since his arrival in the summer.

He added that before the Australian manager was hired by Spurs, many people had misjudged him.

He stated:

I cherish him. I find him to be a breath of fresh air because he just seems so genuine.

They could win the league next night, in my opinion. However, I don’t believe they are there yet. They seem to have gotten off to a good start, have some momentum, and have a positive attitude. In my opinion, it’s still unclear whether they can make it to the top four.

Recalling what I said about David Moyes and Unai Emery at the beginning of the show, I indicated that it was because their names are not popular.

This person has a long history of coaching at the highest levels—at the national level, at Celtic, and elsewhere in the world.

And simply because he isn’t trendy, many undervalue the caliber of this kind of guy. A complete breath of fresh air, he is.

I’d say I want to go and have a beer with him if there was someone you’d want to sit down and chat to right now because I think he’d teach you so much about how to interact with and respond to people.

At Spurs, Ange has truly been a breath of new air. Nobody anticipated him to have such an immediate influence, but in a short period of time, he has entirely changed the club.

Ange Postecoglou’s appointment at Tottenham has clearly had a beneficial effect because he has been able to uplift the team’s spirits and attitude.

Spurs have been producing some of the best football of all time under his direction. Under him, every single player is giving their all, and the results are clear as Spurs maintain their league-leading unbeaten record.

They are back on top of the Premier League standings after beating Fulham 2-0, two points ahead of Manchester City and Arsenal.
