Despite interest from Celtic and Newcastle United, West Ham United are on the verge of signing Cliftonville teenager Sean Moore.
According to the Belfast Telegraph, a deal for Moore to join West Ham is ‘all but done’.
West Ham is said to be paying roughly £170,000 upfront for Moore, but the sum might grow to around £500,000.
Cliftonville will also have a large sell-on clause in place because they want a piece of whatever future success the teenager has with the Hammers.
According to the report, West Ham made an approach to sign Moore in January but no deal was struck.
David Moyes’ men, on the other hand, have not given up and appear to be on the rise.
Everton, Newcastle United, Celtic, and Ipswich Town were among the clubs interested in Moore.
West Ham, on the other hand, will win the race, outbidding all other interested teams for the teenager’s signature.

Who is Sean Moore, the West Ham United target?
Moore has risen through the ranks of Cliftonville and is establishing a name for himself in Northern Ireland.
The 17-year-old has already played 35 times for the Cliftonville first team and has bagged six goals as well as three assists.
Primarily a winger who can play on either flank, Moore is capable of playing as a wing back if needed.
The hype surrounding Moore has been building and Cliftonville boss Paddy McLaughlin has hailed him as a ‘special talent’.
Moore has shown so much talent that he has even been compared to Lionel Messi over in Northern Ireland.
That’s pretty lofty stuff but Moore has been a wanted man of late – and not just by a host of clubs.
Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland have been vying for Moore’s services as he qualifies for both nations.
West Ham won’t care too much right now; if they beat Newcastle and Celtic to Moore’s signature, they may well land a massive coup for the future.
