Ange Postecoglou bans unpopular Spurs rule implemented by Antonio Conte

The Italian’s permanent replacement at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has just been named as the Australian.

During his tenure in North London, Conte proved to be a contentious character, and his tenure as mayor never really got off the ground.

Between March to the completion of the season, Ryan Mason served as interim coach. He is still a member of the Spurs’ coaching staff.

Postecoglou, a former manager of Celtic, is now in control of the team, and he’s already having an impact.

In addition to calling players directly before meetings, he has taken another step to win their support.

The Daily Mail states that Postecoglou has removed Conte’s controversial decision to forego schedules and set a training time for the following day.

According to the report, the club’s players have warmly welcomed this decision because they all want to advance before the start of the next Premier League season in August.

As he works to mold the team into what he envisions, Postecoglou has spent little time in the transfer market thus far.

James Maddison and Guglielmo Vicario have already been included, and it appears that a transfer to Shakhtar’s Manor Solomon is the next step.Defenders Micky van de Ven and Edmond Tapsoba from Wolfsburg and Leverkusen are also on his wish list.

Of course, Postecoglou will need to address the elephant in the room in the shape of Harry Kane too.

Bayern Munich are believed to be ready to come back for the England captain with another bid.

The world-class striker is wanted by the Bundesliga team, but Daniel Levy is clearly hesitant to let him go.

Spurs don’t want to let him leave for nothing next summer, but he just has one year left on his deal.

They reportedly want more than £100 million for their captain, although it’s thought that a bid of at least £80 million may result in a deal.
