2026 edge prospect includes Tennessee in top eight schools

2026 edge prospect Rodney Dunham announced his top eight schools, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.

 

Dunham’s top eight schools are Tennessee, South Carolina, Notre Dame, Florida State, Duke, Georgia, Alabama and Ohio State.

 

The 6-foot-4, 227-pound edge defender is from Myers Park High School in Charlotte, North Carolina.

 

He ranks No. 45 nationally in the 247Sports Composite for the class of 2026. Dunham also ranks as the No. 5 edge defender and No. 6 prospect in North Carolina.

 

The Vols offered him a scholarship on May 9. Dunham unofficially visited Tennessee on Oct. 19.

 

Tennessee has five commitments in its 2026 recruiting class: Quarterback Faizon Brandon, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Brandon Anderson, defensive lineman Tyson Bacon and wide receiver Tyreek King.
