West Ham move for £80m star would be ‘great for career’ at London Stadium

A £80 million star move by West Ham would revitalize a career.

Journalist Paul Brown told GIVEMESPORT that bringing Harry Maguire from Manchester United to West Ham United may revitalize the English defender’s career.

The Red Devils have put Maguire through a difficult time, and he is anticipated to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Harry Maguire is a transfer target for West Ham United.

It’s easy to conclude that Maguire’s £80 million move from Leicester City to the Stretford-based team in August 2019 hasn’t paid off, despite him joining United as the most expensive defender in world football.

Four years after being regarded as one of Europe’s most promising center backs at the time, Maguire’s reputation has suffered greatly.

As a result, it is now expected that the Englishman will leave Old Trafford when the transfer market opens, with top-flight clubs already licking their lips at a potential transfer.

One of those teams is reportedly West Ham, with David Moyes reportedly interested in the six-foot-three defender.

According to the report, West Ham will reportedly start talking to United later this month as the Hammers attempt to make a low-cost signing of the former Hull City player.

Naturally, the east Londoners have been linked with Maguire before; they were most recently rumored to sign him in January.

There is a growing agreement that Erik ten Hag and Co. will be willing to allow Maguire depart when the summer market is up for business despite United’s denial of an exit during the winter season.

What has Paul Brown said to West Ham regarding Maguire?

Journalist Brown acknowledged it might be a move that does wonders for Maguire’s career when asked about the prospect of him joining West Ham in an interview with GIVEMESPORT.

Brown added of the 30-year-old: “David Moyes understands his center-backs, and he has a wonderful track record of producing success out of all the defenders he’s had at his teams.

There aren’t many that stand out that he hasn’t been able to benefit much from, in reality. I really believe that Harry Maguire’s career would benefit greatly if David Moyes were to sign him.

“He would certainly get minutes if he went to West Ham and I think he’d have a manager who really believes in him by playing every week.”

Maguire: Would he be a worthwhile addition for West Ham?

While most of his United appearances have fallen short of expectations, Maguire has frequently performed at his best when representing England.

Should he still be in charge at the London Stadium the following season, Moyes will be trying to get the kind of performance the Yorkshire-born defender put on for the Three Lions after finishing the 2022 World Cup with a WhoScored ranking of 7.35.

At the World Cup, Maguire averaged over 1.5 tackles each game while also recording at least three clearances every 90 minutes.

There is nothing to suggest that Maguire won’t be a success at West Ham next season if a deal can be made at a price that

To Chelsea with Harry Maguire? Man Utd would trade a defender for Mason Mount as long as the two sides cannot agree on a price. Manchester United may decline to pay Chelsea’s asking price for Mason Mount, thus the club may receive harry Maguire in return. What took place? The chelsea midfielder is apparently in personal agreement with manchester united to transfer to old trafford as he is about to leave stamford bridge. Chelsea’s demand of 70 million euros, however, has been a significant roadblock because the red devils don’t think the player is worth that much money.
