Huge Kane update as ‘jaw-dropping’ offer submitted
A “jaw-dropping” new contract has been extended to Harry Kane in order to secure his long-term future with Tottenham.
Spurs have made every effort to cling onto their best player in order to prevent the crippling financial loss of losing him for nothing the next year.
Kane has reportedly been given a massive pay raise by Tottenham that would not only dramatically increase his current weekly income of £200,000 but also elevate him to the top earners in the Premier League.
Erling Haaland of Man City and Mohamed Salah of Liverpool, who last summer signed a new three-year contract, are two of the current top bracket players.
To preserve their own goal machine, Spurs are prepared to go as far as Liverpool did the previous season.
He is aware that Bayern Munich is very interested in him and that they made an initial proposal of £60 million last week. He would be allowed to sign a pre-contract with them in January.
Kane is not for sale, and Tottenham has publicly stated that they won’t take offers for him this summer.
They think Kane can stay and that his goals can still be achieved at the team where he has spent his whole career, especially with the marquee addition of playmaker James Maddison.
Along with Maddison, Spurs have also added goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario and are about to reveal the acquisition of winger Manor Solomon.
