Tottenham ‘put four players up for sale’ as defensive double act told to find new clubs

Newcastle United v Tottenham Hotspur - Premier League

Hugo Lloris is among those Tottenham are keen to sell

Tottenham are willing to entertain offers for Hugo Lloris, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Tanguy Ndombele and Bryan Gil this summer. Daniel Levy has already been busy in the transfer market having already brought in five new additions and more could follow in the coming weeks as Ange Postecoglou’s north London regime continues to take shape.

Tottenham ‘in advanced talks’ to sign £12m forward with two other deals imminent

Spurs are looking to finalise the arrivals of Ashley Phillips, Micky van de Ven and Argentina U20 striker Alejo Veliz after making progress on all three deals.

But even if they’re able to get those moves over the line, Tottenham need to generate further cash through sales – something they have struggled to do thus far.

According to The Evening Standard, Lloris, Hojbjerg, Ndombele and Gil are all up for grabs.

That’s without even mentioning the likes of Davinson Sanchez and Joe Rodon who have already been informed they can move on this summer.

Denmark v Northern Ireland: Group H - UEFA EURO 2024 Qualifying Round

Tottenham are willing to offload Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

Lloris had attracted strong interest from Saudi Arabia but he is yet to complete a transfer away from the club despite his desire to leave.

A return to France remains a possibility while Hojbjerg is wanted by Atletico Madrid.

Atletico are determined to land the Dane but are reluctant to meet Tottenham’s asking price which is thought to be worth around £35m.

Ndombele, meanwhile, is attracting interest from Galatasaray following his spell with Napoli.

The Frenchman was handed a clean slate at Tottenham this summer but so far, he is yet to live up to expectations after winning the Scudetto in Italy.

Gil remains a target for Sevilla but any move has become complicated by a groin issue.

Spurs had agreed a fee with Spartak Moscow for Colombian defender Sanchez but the move is unlikely to materialise.

A host of other European sides including Galatasaray, Strasbourg, Real Betis, Fenerbahce, PSV and Villarreal have also looked at Sanchez.

Rodon is expected to be sold following his time on loan at Rennes in France but there have been no concrete bids to date.

Sergio Reguilon has also been attracting interest from Real Sociedad in Spain.

It’s thought the ex-Atletico Madrid loanee would be available at the right price this window.

Leeds have also been linked with Oliver Skipp but a departure isn’t likely at this moment in time
