Tottenham now want to sign an amazing midfielder who is also wanted by Arsenal

Gabri Veiga has been at the centre of so much speculation already this summer.

In fact, Veiga has recently been linked to a number of England’s elite teams, with Liverpool and Manchester City reportedly showing an interest.Le10Sport reports that Tottenham, Arsenal, and Chelsea are all interested in the Spaniard, and that a number of other English clubs are also vying for his services.

This is, to put it mildly, quite interesting.

Veiga had previously been referred to as a “amazing” midfielder, and it seems like the possibilities are endless for this young youngster.

After years of rumors regarding both Arsenal and Chelsea, the links to Tottenham are new, and we must admit that we are really interested in this possibility.

Veiga would be fantastic for Ange Postecoglou’s attack-minded midfield, and it would be thrilling to partner him with a player like Yves Bissouma in the middle of the park.

Of course, a strong midfield needs to strike the correct balance, and we can’t help but think that if Spurs combined Veiga, Bissouma, and James Maddison, they would be on the right route.

Sadly, this kind of change won’t be as simple as usual.

Veiga has been linked with numerous Champions League teams, and given that Spurs finished eighth in the Premier League last year, they are unable to guarantee that he will play in Europe next year or even that he will start every week given their abundance of midfielders.

There is no doubt that this would be one of the most exciting additions of the summer, but given the details of the transaction, it is difficult to see Veiga really playing for Postecoglou in the next season.
