Tottenham 2-1 Sheffield United: Dejan Kulusevski seals stunning comeback win as Spurs maintain unbeaten start
Tottenham continued their fantastic start to the Premier League season by defeating Sheffield United 2-1 with two goals in stoppage time.

After 74 minutes of nearly relentless Spurs pressure and save after save from Wes Foderingham, Gustavo Hamer scored a stunning goal for the Blades to stun Tottenham and take the lead, which they held onto until the eighth minute of stoppage time.
After Richarlison scored his first Premier League goal at home for the team at that time, Dejan Kulusevski supplied the game-winning goal in the 100th minute, setting off raucous celebrations. Ollie McBurnie was dismissed in the dying moments after receiving a second caution for dissent, capping a disastrous match for the guests.
From the very beginning of the game, the pattern was established. Foderingham had to make seven saves in the first 35 minutes of play alone as players like James Maddison and Heung-min Son all forced him into action. As near as anyone, Yves Bissouma drove into the box and attempted to score, but his effort was blocked.
After the break, the continued with Spurs controlling possession and holding the Blades at bay without translating that pressure into a steady stream of clear-cut opportunities. Son’s shot was blocked as the ball was cut back to him, and Manor Solomon, drifting in from the left, came near to scoring multiple times.
However, it was at the opposite end that the goal was ultimately scored. Hamer was found at the back post following a long ball into the box, and he dragged his shot low into the corner, off the far post.

Spurs had a late lift in the form of 12 additional minutes, albeit for eight of those they battled to gain any kind of momentum.
That changed when Richarlison’s header went in, the 15th attempt for Tottenham to capitalize on a corner. Just a few minutes later, one point became into three as the Brazilian switched to providing, setting up Kulusevski for the most thrilling of victories.
