Striker with 23 goals and 17 assists now the ‘priority target’ – Player ‘keen on a move’, ‘green light’ given
The interest from Tottenham in the striker is described as “huge,” and talks with the player have already begun.
Tottenham’s owners have reportedly ‘given the green light’ to sell Kane, and with the striker keen on a move to Spurs, a deal could be on the horizon.
However, Eintracht Frankfurt, Kolo Muani’s current club, is asking for a substantial fee of €80 million for his services.
💣🚨 EXCL. Randal Kolo Muani to be the priority target striker for Harry Kane’s replacement at #Tottenham !
🗣️ Interest’s huge and talks on player’s side has just started. I understand this deal could happen as ENIC Group gave green light to Daniel Levy for a sale of Harry Kane.… pic.twitter.com/QEHTZZreEB— Sacha Tavolieri (@sachatavolieri) July 24, 2023
Kolo Muani joined Eintracht Frankfurt from Nantes on a free transfer and has already made a significant impact, scoring 23 goals and providing 17 assists in just 46 appearances.
His impressive performances have also attracted interest from Chelsea, but it appears that the player’s preference is to join Tottenham.
While replacing Harry Kane, who seems determined to join Bayern Munich, will undoubtedly be a challenging task, signing someone like Randal Kolo Muani would be a significant statement for Tottenham.
If they can secure his signature over their rivals, it would be considered a major coup for the North London club.
Several other strikers have been linked with Spurs as replacement for Kane. Lille striker Jonathan David is one of them who scored 26 goals across all competitions.
Another striker linked is Brentford’s Ivan Toney who is currently serving a ban which would see him miss action until January 2024.
As speculations about Kane’s future continue to circulate, it remains to be seen how the situation will unfold.
Nonetheless, securing someone like Kolo Muani could help Tottenham bolster their attacking options and provide them with a potential long-term solution up front
