The Guardian reported that West Ham wanted to complete the signing of Harvey Barnes from Leicester as soon as possible.

The Scot wants to bolster his attacking lineups urgently because the front line needs more speed and force. And it appears that Moyes is after Barnes in particular.

Barnes is direct in the way that he plays and always has his opposing full-back on the back foot. The Leicester ace is absolutely rapid, possesses exceptional technique and is strong with both feet.
