Report: Club are continuing to look at Tottenham player ahead of January

According to AS, Real Betis are still keeping an eye on Giovani Lo Celso’s circumstances at Tottenham Hotspur in preparation for the January transfer window.

During the summer transfer window, Lo Celso was frequently mentioned as a potential departure from Spurs. Rumors said that late loan deals for the Argentine were being considered by Real Betis (Rudy Galetti), Barcelona (Javi Miguel), and Napoli (Il Mattino).

Ange Postecoglou allegedly informed the player’s camp that he will play a part at Tottenham this season, which led to him remaining at the Premier League team (Express).

The 27-year-old has made just one start so far this year, against Fulham in the Carabao Cup second round match. Given James Maddison’s outstanding play, it does not appear that he will see many minutes going forward.

Real Betis are continuing to monitor Lo Celso

According to a new report from AS, Manuel Pellegrini still wants to bring the Tottenham player to Benito Villamarin Stadium.

Isco was reportedly a summer acquisition by Betis, but the former Real Madrid player is viewed as a substitute for Nabil Fekir, as Pellegrini is rumored to have been looking for a different midfielder to take Sergio Canales’ place.

According to the report, Lo Celso fits that description, which is why the Spanish team is keeping a watch on the Spurs player despite his inability to play regularly in North London.

The Argentine is probably going to push for a transfer in January because I do not see Lo Celso having much of a look in over the next several months, barring Maddison suffering an injury.

I believe Ange would permit Lo Celso to leave without hiring a successor since players like Brennan Johnson and Dejan Kuluseveski can play centrally as the advanced number eight.

Harry Kane reveals ‘a few clubs’ tried to sign him from Spurs this summer

In his discussion of the transfer rumors that led to his move to Bayern Munich, Harry Kane claimed there had been discussions with other teams about a potential transfer.

Harry Kane transfer rumors had been circulating for a while, and it appeared certain that the striker would depart Tottenham this summer.

As Kane entered the last year of his deal with the North London club, it became apparent that he was eager to leave and pursue some trophy success.

The summer’s hot topic was the transfer drama.Bayern Munich made two bids for the England captain that Spurs refused, but they eventually acquired him in a transaction that might be worth more than £100 million (Sky Sports).

With four goals in five games for the Bundesliga champions, Kane has had an outstanding start to life in Germany (Transfermarkt).

Who else wanted to sign Harry Kane from Spurs?

Kane was mentioned in connection with a number of other teams over the summer, including Manchester United (Mirror), PSG (Sky Sports), Chelsea (Metro), and Real Madrid (EuroSport).

Kane has now acknowledged that he had discussions with other teams before deciding to join Bayern Munich, but he still maintains that the German team was the only one he wanted to join.

Kane said: “I know there were some talks between a few clubs in the background, but Bayern were a team I was really interested in and excited by.” Football Daily released a press conference tape of Kane making the statement.

Once they entered, there wasn’t much conversation. Obviously, they and Tottenham had to speak before the trade could be completed. My attention is here; I chose to come, and I’m glad I did.

I’m thrilled Harry Kane got the job he wanted and am especially happy that he isn’t representing another team in the Premier League. I hope he succeeds in everything he sets out to do in Germany and wins the medals he is due.
