Report: Barcelona and Juventus are both looking at the same Spurs player

Despite Barcelona’s unsuccessful summer transfer attempt for Giovani Lo Celso, Tutto Juve has reported that Xavi Hernandez is still hopeful of landing the midfield player.

We shared a report from Estadio Deportivo a few days ago, indicating that Real Betis will continue to monitor Lo Celso’s circumstances following their failure to sign him during the most recent transfer window.

According to the source, Manuel Pellegrini’s team may take advantage of any chance to sign the Argentine throughout the winter.

Barcelona remain keen on Giovani Lo Celso

While covering Juventus’ interest in Lo Celso, Tutto Juve has now disclosed that Barcelona is still very interested in the midfielder.

According to the source, the Old Lady has observed that the 27-year-old is not given much of a role by Ange Postecoglou and believes he may be a “cheap” alternative.

It is clarified, meanwhile, that Barca will likely present a challenge to the Turin team because Xavi Hernandez has “not forgotten” about the Tottenham player.

According to the article, Lo Celso is the ideal fit for the Spanish coach’s system at Camp Nou.

When the transfer window reopens in January, there will undoubtedly be a lot of interest in Lo Celso. However, since the Argentine is Maddison’s only natural backup, I doubt Postecoglou would want to let him go without bringing in another attacking midfielder.

Report: Tottenham scout watches ‘wonderful’ Celtic player after Postecoglou instructions

Spurs are reportedly interested in another Celtic player, Kyogo Furuhashi, after scouting the striker.

Given that Yogo Furuhashi, a Celtic striker, is rumored to be under observation by Tottenham Hotspur, Ange Postecoglou is focusing on the Scottish market.

The Sun claims that Postecoglou wants Tottenham to be well aware of players in Scotland, and that is the case.

Postecoglou only departed from Scottish football during the summer, leaving Celtic to accept the Tottenham position.

Even yet, the Australian is still curious about every elite player playing north of the border, even one of his former Celtic teammates.

Tottenham Hotspur watching Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi

According to The Sun, Tottenham scout Ian Broomfield was dispatched to Scotland for a four-day reconnaissance expedition.

It is believed that Broomfield observed Celtic attacker Kyogo Furuhashi in action.

From Postecoglou’s relocation to North London, Kyogo was always going to be associated with Tottenham.

Postecoglou was enthralled with Kyogo’s goal-scoring exploits for Vissel Kobe in Japan, and in the summer of 2021 he lured him to Celtic.

Although the Spurs manager doesn’t really need reminding of Kyogo’s abilities, it appears that Tottenham is keeping an eye on him in preparation for a possible transfer bid for the Celtic star.

Another Celtic player linked with Tottenham

Maybe out of consideration for the Bhoys, Postecoglou resisted the urge to raid his old club during the summer transfer window.

However, with Kyogo now being targeted to bolster Tottenham’s strike force, 2024 might be a different story.

Son Heung-min has been playing brilliantly up top, but Kyogo, a natural striker who Kenny Dalglish called a “wonderful talent,” would be welcomed.

A few days ago, TEAMtalk also mentioned that Postecoglou would like to bring Celtic playmaker Matt O’Riley to Tottenham.

Although a double Tottenham raid in January is unlikely, these Tottenham rumors may have Celtic on high alert.
