The 33-year-old West Ham forward Michail Antonio is eager to leave the London Stadium, according to a report from The Guardian.
In fact, it’s implied that he’s actively trying to get the Hammers to let him go.
When Antonio claimed that his teammate Gianluca Scamacca wasn’t cut out to play for David Moyes, it created quite a fuss.
The £85k-per-week (Spotrac) Jamaican international infuriated the majority of West Ham supporters with those remarks. Coming out with it just before our biggest and most crucial game in 17 years was truly strange.
And it now seems that the writing could be on the wall for Antonio at the London Stadium…

Given his odd remarks from earlier this week and the reality that Antonio is now well past his prime and a replacement must be found if we are to make any strides as a team, David Moyes will undoubtedly be amenable to granting him his wish.
Since relocating to Upton Park from Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2015, Micky has been a good employee for West Ham.
But it’s evident that the 33-year-old has serious limits, and he won’t actually have much to offer us if the Hammers decide to become a more possession-based team.
Michail Antonio will be intrinsically linked with West Ham United, wherever he moves on to next.
It just seems to me like the timing is perfect now for Micky and the Hammers to go their separate ways.
