Real Madrid not ruling out move for €70 million-rated hitman after Vinicius’ injury – report
Real Madrid waited until the nth minute before announcing Vinicius Jr’s injury. Los Blancos conducted the required diagnostic modalities hoping for a miracle, but it was not meant to be.
Against Celta Vigo, the young player was struck in the right biceps femoris muscle and is now expected to be sidelined for at least six weeks. He will miss nearly eight games for the men in white throughout that time.
Carlo Ancelotti’s offensive was understaffed when the season began, and the most recent change significantly reduces the resources at his disposal.
Jose Manuel Moreno has reported that Real Madrid is no longer against the idea of signing Dusan Vlahovic. After all, they have limited options for attacking due to Vini’s extended absence and Kylian Mbappe’s decision to stay at PSG.
A reliable option
Joselu was recruited by Florentino Perez earlier this summer to replace Karim Benzema, but it is obvious that Ancelotti does not yet have confidence in him to start.
Therefore, there would be very little risk involved in moving for Vlahovic.

He is not only a skilled shooter from inside the box but can also drop deeper to connect with the midfield.
Is a loan move still possible?
Real Madrid has had Vlahovic’s name on their list of desired players for a while. The club had been interested in the Serbian earlier this summer, but negotiations stalled because of Kylian Mbappe’s murky legal issue.
Given that Juventus paid more than €80 million to sign Vlahovic a little more than 18 months ago, and given that his market value is €70 million, they will want a high price for the hitman.
There is, however, a slim possibility that the Bianconeri will consent to sending Vlahovic out on loan for the entire season.
The possibility of the striker joining Madrid on loan for between €15 and €20 million first appeared earlier this summer, however at the time they were intending to buy Romelu Lukaku, who is now on his way to AS Roma. We’ll have to wait and see if that door is still open.
