‘Quite unbelievable’: Sky reporter shares what someone has told him about Spurs target Luka Vuskovic
Luka Vuskovic may be prepared for the first team at Tottenham Hotspur by the time he potentially comes at the club at the age of 18, according to Sky reporter Michael Bridge, who claims to have heard this from someone who regularly follows junior football.
Bridge discussed the 16-year-old player on the Last Word On Spurs podcast amid rumors that Spurs were poised to sign him.
Even though the transfer season has now closed, Tottenham seems to be getting close to making a really interesting deal. According to Fabrizio Romano’s report on X, Spurs won the race to recruit Vuskovic by defeating a number of rivals.
He treated the news like it was Here We Go, with agreed-upon personal terms.
Tottenham’s position as the front-runner in the race makes a significant signal. The defender for Hajduk Split appears to be a fantastic prospect. But he will stay in Croatia until he turns 18 in 2025.
Tottenham potentially landing a gem in Vuskovic
Spurs supporters are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Vuskovic with excitement. Bridge added that there is solid justification for their optimism over this acquisition.
I now believe Spurs won’t see him until 2025. But it’s very, very encouraging that the Spurs are actually planning that far ahead,” he said in an interview with Last Word On Spurs.
“I find it pretty astonishing that this youngster might be ready at the age of 18, according to one person who is knowledgeable about the youth level. But I believe the level at which he is playing supports that.
How quickly Tottenham changed their strategy is amazing. Fans would have anticipated the worst if they had been informed at the beginning of the year that Antonio Conte would depart and eventually be replaced by the Celtic manager, who would then lose Harry Kane in his first summer in command.
But under Ange Postecoglou, Spurs seem to be in an incredible position. They are also developing for the future.
If the deal is approved, it is too soon to predict where Tottenham will be when Vuskovic joins in 2025, but they are unquestionably headed in the right direction at the moment.
