Nick Saban puts epic jinx on Justin Thomas during Golf Channel interview

Over the years, announcer jinxes have been held responsible for a number of horrible incidents, including pitchers giving up home runs and missed field goals.

On Sunday, former Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban released the interviewing jinx, an incredibly uncommon kind of jinx. The man best recognized for his football knowledge placed the spell on a professional golfer, which added to the bizarre situation.

During Sunday’s final round broadcast of The American Express event in La Quinta, California, Saban was interviewed over the phone by The Golf Channel. Saban discussed amateur Nick Dunlap, a 20-year-old student from Alabama who was very competitive in winning the tournament.

However, the broadcast cut to Thomas as he was getting ready for the Pete Dye Stadium Course’s eleventh hole approach shot. Thomas, an Alabama alum, is a regular golf partner of Coach Saban.

“His dad, Mike, is a fantastic guy, and Justin is a great person with a great family. He works diligently, and I am aware that he overcame some hardships last year. said Saban.

Saban said, “I think he’s going to have a great year this year. He’s done it like a trooper.”

Thomas hit the ball in the exact moment that Saban declared it to be a “great year.”

No. 11 presents a water hazard. It was certainly obvious to everyone who was familiar with the infamous announcer jinx what would happen next.

The sphere fell into the water.

Thomas can’t be too angry with Saban for his inappropriate compliment because he managed to save a bogie on the hole.
