Information about Tottenham Hotspur’s unsuccessful summer bid to buy Victor Nelsson from Galatasaray has come to light.

The center-back was targeted by the North London club, who reportedly made an offer for him as well.

The player was disappointed by his team’s choice to obstruct his move, and the Turkish giants turned down their offer, much to his dismay.

According to Haber7, Okan Buruk, the manager of Galatasaray, insisted on rejecting a nearly €20 million bid from both Tottenham AND Sevilla for the Denmark international.

According to the story, the manager has since expressed his “great regrets” for not allowing the player to join Spurs during the summer transfer window to people close to him.

According to a recent source, Spurs are still interested in signing the €30 million release clause defender in January.

If Tottenham is prepared to spend the money in January, they will be able to have his services.
