Jamie O’Hara rants over Ange Postecoglou’s ‘gung-ho’ tactics and names Tottenham players who should be axed

Jamie O’Hara was incensed following Tottenham’s Saturday collapse against Wolves.

Spurs lost 2-1 at Molinenux to Gary O’Neil’s team after giving up two goals in extra time.

Star players like Micky van de Ven and James Maddison were sidelined due to injuries, and Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie were suspended, so Ange Postecoglou was left without them.

Tottenham has now suffered back-to-back losses, dropping to third place in the standings.

Former Spurs player O’Hara bemoaned Postecoglou’s strategies, which he believed finally caused them to lose.

“This is the way we are, this is what we’re going to do, and this is how we’re going to play,” he said to talkSPORT. I get that.

“But you’re Celtic, you’re the best team, and you’re not playing in Scotland; the other teams are dogs.”

“You’re up against elite teams. At home, Wolves are a formidable team with talented players and a capable manager.

“A point’s not a bad result if you just keep making dumb mistakes and you keep playing this gung-ho football and trying to win it.”

“The players who were forced to enter the game off the bench are not good enough.

“Ben Davies is not a center half, but he’s alright and will work hard.” Eric Dier is in no man’s land for both goals after making two errors. I have no idea where he’s attempting to go.

“This is the issue; we ought to have let him go in the summer because no one wanted him and he returned to the team.

“These players you’ve been trying to cut loose end up getting back on the field.”

If Liverpool defeats Brentford on Sunday, Tottenham might drop further in the standings and end up in fourth place going into the international break.
