Tottenham

‘How did he manage to do that’?: Pundit says Ange Postecoglou has completely transformed £15m Spurs player.

Tottenham has become one of the Premier League’s most interesting teams under Ange Postecoglou.

Indeed, Spurs have somehow turned things around in a short of weeks after an exceedingly dreary season under Antonio Conte.

This club is currently playing with a lot of freedom under Postecoglou, and some Spurs players are revitalized.

Pape Matar Sarr is one player who has significantly developed over this period, and on Premier League Productions, Leroy Rosenior questioned how Ange Postecoglou was able to secure the £15 million playing the way he is.

Sarr looks transformed

Rosenior gave his assessment of the midfielder’s development.

Everyone at that football club seems to be. Not many new players have joined Ange’s team. Nearly all of these players were present. What ploy does he use? How does he get Pape Sarr to play with such freely and Bissouma to play so well? How did he accomplish that? stated Rosenior.

More to come

Sarr appears to have made enormous progress this summer, but the frightening thing is that he still has a ton of space for growth.

This young man, who is only 20 years old, has not yet reached his full potential. However, if he continues in this direction, in a few years he may become one of the Premier League’s top midfielders.

Sarr appears to be enjoying life under Ange Postecoglou, so we wouldn’t rule out the possibility that he will keep becoming better despite the fact that it is unclear whether he will continue to advance.

He has “clicked,” and this is “his turning point,” claims Postecoglou, who persuaded a contentious star to remain.

Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham, has reportedly been successful in turning around the career of World Cup champion Cristian Romero. The mistake-prone defender has reportedly turned a new leaf and been persuaded to shelve exit plans.

Since his original season-long loan from Atalanta in the summer of 2021, the Argentine star has cut a contentious figure. The 25-year-old has been something of a mystery during his stay in north London, with that agreement later turning permanent. It wouldn’t have surprised anyone if Tottenham had made a profit off of him this summer despite the fact that he was occasionally a world-beater and other times a careless disaster littered with errors.

However, things have turned around since Postecoglou took over as manager. The center-half has demonstrated remarkable consistency thus far and appears to be much more at ease playing in Tottenham’s flat back four than in the five utilized by his predecessor Antonio Conte.

In fact, Spurs have lost a number of defensive options throughout this turbulent summer. After being phased out by Postecoglou and given permission to leave by Daniel Levy, Eric Dier seems to be on the scrap heap and set to depart in January.

Romero is now the veteran leader of a newly assembled Spurs defense after Davinson Sanchez and his departure for Galatasaray.

Romero is enjoying his new responsibilities at Spurs, working alongside full-backs Destiny Udogie and Pedro Porro, as well as summer signing Micky van de Ven.

In fact, Alasdair Gold, a journalist and YouTuber, claims that Romero has officially abandoned any ambitions he may have had to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Cristian Romero has no plans to quit Tottenham

Romero was seen kissing the captain’s armband following the crushing 5-2 victory at Burnley, so it appears his love for Spurs is still very much alive.

In light of the defender’s turn around in luck and increase in popularity under Postecoglou, Gold believes Romero is now a fixture.

“He really kind of shot down claims that he loved playing for Argentina more than Spurs and his heart was not really with the club,” Gold said.

He made it quite apparent that he had already turned down offers to leave Spurs this summer, saying, “No, no, I genuinely believe in it.

And I believe that [Ange] Postecoglou is largely to blame.

“He and Postecoglou just really get along. He is, in fact, the most important defender in the back line, as Postecoglou claims.

He now serves as something of an elder statesman for that back line, which is odd for a 25-year-old.

“With Romero, this season is really a stepping stone for me.”

Postecoglou is aware that there is still room for development, though. Spurs have only kept one clean sheet while giving up four goals in their first four outings.

Maddison performances earn Sheringham praise

Postecoglou’s team is more than capable of outscoring the opposition this season, though, with James Maddison and company at the opposite end inflicting harm.

Everything points to a successful season for Spurs.

Maddison, a £40 million summer acquisition from Leicester, has been a brilliant addition. He has two goals and two assists through his first four games and is enjoying the unrestricted role Postecoglou has given him.

Teddy Sheringham believes the England international is a “fantastic addition” for Spurs in an interview with Sky Sports.

“Harry Kane doesn’t appear to be missed by Tottenham. Son has taken the initiative, Sheringham remarked.

“I love the way they’re playing. Madison appears to be a wonderful addition.
