Hammers raid a Club for two creative players: Talks bill for ….as club chairman fly into London

As attention switches from outs to ins, a new report indicates West Ham has plans to hold talks to sign two players from the same club.

Tim Steidten has entered the building, the summer transfer window for foreign transactions is now open, and Declan Rice is almost ready to finalize his departure from West Ham in a £105 million British record deal.

Therefore, West Ham manager David Moyes can now devote all of his attention to reforming his team in crucial areas.

The center of the field is without a doubt the top priority.

And during the past two months, a ton of midfielders have been linked with the Hammers.

They say there is no smoke without fire and links this week have centered around Juventus and Chelsea flop Denis Zakaria.

Report: West Ham have talks planned to sign two players from the same club as focus shifts from outs to ins

On Friday, Tuttosport reported that Juventus sporting director Giovanni Manna would travel to London to negotiate a deal for Swiss international Zakaria with the West Ham hierarchy.

However, there has been a twist, as it appears that another participant will also be on the agenda.

As attention switches from outs to ins, a new report suggests that West Ham is in talks to recruit two players from the same club.

TMW reports that Juventus will also be talking about a deal for Brazilian Arthur Melo, who spent last season on loan at Liverpool, as did Football Italia.

Melo missed four months of action due to injury and failed to play once for the Reds in the Premier League.

According to the report, West Ham is considering both Zakaria and Melo.

Given that Steidten now has overall responsibility for West Ham’s scouting and hiring, it stands to reason that, if genuine, these players are ones that he had already discovered before being confirmed in his new position.

‘Talks scheduled in London on Wednesday’

According to Football Italia, “Manna and Juventus’ current goal is to find new homes for surplus midfielders Zakaria and Arthur, as reported by Tuttosport via TMW. He’ll travel to London next week to continue discussing potential deals.”

Manna will travel to England’s capital on Wednesday to personally negotiate the pair’s potential moves because West Ham is interested in them.

It’s fair to argue that if they signed with West Ham, Zakaria and Melo would have nothing left to prove.

Following his move from Barcelona, Melo has had the same total failure at Juve and Chelsea that Zakaria did at Juve.

But if these are targets of West Ham’s new technical director then fans will just have to trust his data-driven process.
