Good News For Spurs as Premier League Club Could Now Sell Their £35m Star to Tottenham in January

More discussion over Conor Gallagher’s departure from Chelsea to Tottenham Hotspur this month will continue for a few hours.

As Tottenham looks to build on the spectacular acquisitions of Radu Dragusin and Timo Werner, Gallagher is among their main targets.

Given the uncertainty surrounding Gallagher’s future at Chelsea, Spurs and Ange Postecoglou want to add him to the team.

Gallagher hasn’t yet expressed a desire to leave The Bridge, and Mauricio Pochettino has stated that he wants his captain to stay.

However, journalist Ben Jacobs stated today on the FIVE YouTube channel that Chelsea will sell if the proper offer is made.

Chelsea will listen to Tottenham offer for Conor Gallagher

Regarding the Gallagher scenario, Jacobs states that Chelsea is willing to consider offers and has a price for the player.

“It’s highly possible that Chelsea will opt to cash in on Conor Gallagher if the correct number is hit. He isn’t being promoted to teams or placed on a transfer list, though, because he isn’t actively for sale. But he will be free to leave if a team approaches and meets Chelsea’s asking price. Gallagher is still free to decline, but Chelsea’s strategy is to examine and listen to offers if the deal has less than two years left on it.

As a result, Chelsea might accept the offer from Spurs if they make it since there isn’t a new deal on the horizon. Gallagher is able to refuse, though. Chelsea needs Gallagher in the near term, but I believe Chelsea supporters will disagree on whether or not he fits in the long run. At the end of the previous window, the Spurs made a bid of about £35 million for Conor Gallagher. They believed that any amount higher than that was excessive, but as Gallagher’s form has improved, the figure will rise. We’ll have to wait and see if Spurs are willing to spend that kind of money, but if they are, Chelsea will pay close attention, according to Jacobs.

Levy should push the button

This is the best moment to fully support the manager at Tottenham during the Daniel Levy era.

Spurs are well-positioned to finish in the top four this season, if not higher, under Postecoglou.

Spurs have strengthened their roster with the additions of Dragusin and Werner, who join during the summer transfer window.

But it would feel like a huge statement to land Gallagher. You also get the impression that, with Ange in command, he may persuade the Englishman to move.

Therefore, Levy must act now while the opportunity is still present.
