Giovani Lo Celso posts three-word message after Tottenham training yesterday

When Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham, decided to hold onto Giovani Lo Celso during the summer transfer window, many people were shocked.

The Argentine international has consistently been a strong performer, but for whatever reason, things never quite clicked for him at Spurs.

Lo Celso left Tottenham in the summer after spending 18 months on loan at Villarreal.Postecoglou noticed enough of him after his preseason performance to keep him at the team.

Lo Celso was a substitute against Bournemouth in August after sitting out the first two games of the season. Sadly, he later hurt himself, forcing him to miss more than a month of play.

The midfielder traveled with Argentina and sat on the bench against Luton prior to the international break.

He has since announced that he is back at Hotspur Way, indicating that he is prepared for Monday’s match against Fulham. He tweeted yesterday following training, “We are back.”

Lo Celso can provide cover for James Maddison

James Maddison getting hurt has been one of the biggest worries for Tottenham supporters.

Although the Englishman has perhaps been their finest player this season, he has taken a few bumps along the way, which has terrified supporters.

Fortunately, Maddison has avoided any significant injuries thus far, and with Lo Celso returning, Postecoglou can afford to occasionally give his number 10 a break.

Lo Celso can finally realize the potential he displayed at Real Betis prior to joining Tottenham in 2019 according to the new Spurs manager’s philosophy.
