Last night, Tottenham Hotspur lost badly to West Ham United in the Premier League.

The North London team had a strong start to the Premier League season, but their recent performances have not been at their best.

Their performances have also been rather lackluster as they have lost their last five league games. Spurs are currently battling with several injuries, which has further accelerated their downfall.

At the end of the season, they will be itching to make it back to the UEFA Champions League, and it remains to be seen if Ange Postecoglou can lead his team back to victory.

The North London team undoubtedly has a great roster at their disposal, but they will need to step up their game in the upcoming days and weeks. Cristian Romero gave Tottenham a strong start against West Ham with an early goal. But goals from James Ward-Prowse and Jarrod Bowen helped the Hammers retake the lead and win the match in the second half.

Jamie O’Hara, a former midfielder for Tottenham, has now called the display from his old team an utter disgrace.

The majority of Tottenham’s previous games have seen them outplayed, therefore supporters should anticipate a fierce response from the players in the next games. Whether they can step up and produce is still to be seen.

Ryan Taylor of The Daily Mirror has revealed that Pedro Porro was moving cautiously in the mixed zone following last night’s Premier League loss to West Ham United, which might be another setback for Tottenham.

For the first time since the stadium’s opening, Spurs’ encounter with the London rivals was yet another night to forget as they were condemned to their third straight defeat there.

The home team was punished for not making their first-half domination count after several missed opportunities, and the match bore worrisome similarities to the recent losses against Chelsea and Aston Villa.

Heung-min Son was seen to be in some agony towards the end of the match before youthful attacker Alejo Veliz took his place in the 88th minute, adding to the worry that Tottenham’s injury list may get longer.

Spurs need to avoid Pedro Porro injury

Fortunately, Alasdair Gold disclosed that in his post-match interviews, the South Korean did not appear to be too uncomfortable.

It has since been verified by Taylor that Son himself said he was “okay” when he stopped to talk to reporters at the media mix-zone. Worrisomely, though, Taylor claimed that Porro was also observed hobbling following the game.

Porro put in a ton of effort, especially in the second half, and was frequently the only player with any conviction in the final third as he attempted to get crosses into the box whenever possible.

Losing him would be devastating because Emerson Royal doesn’t provide quite the same attacking danger as the Spaniard.
