Sources: Leeds United six-man signing plan revealed

Once they have reduced their salary expenditure, reports claim Leeds United is confident in reaching agreements on at least six new hires.

As they get ready for life in the Championship next season, The Whites are letting go of many of their big earners.

While Rasmus Kristensen and Diego Llorente are on the verge of signing loan agreements with Roma, Robin Koch has already joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a season-long loan.

Junior Firpo and Illan Meslier are other targets for Leeds, who will also consider offers for them, while Rodrigo and Jack Harrison are anticipated to push for summer transfers.

The Yorkshire giants, who are aiming for immediate promotion under new manager Daniel Farke, will renovate a team that is more prepared for a season in the second tier once they have cleaned house.

According to sources, the team will sign at least six stars, and possibly more. Their primary targets include a new goalie, center back, left back, right back, winger, and striker.

Leeds has been forced to deal with a takeover that is still in progress while making transfers.

On June 9, the club issued an official club statement confirming that Andrea Radrizzani’s Aser Ventures and the 49ers Enterprises had reached a deal to buy the team.

However, the 49ers takeover is still yet to be given the green light by the EFL.

Nevertheless, the Whites have appointed Farke as manager – and have already allowed Tyler Roberts, Koch, Adam Forshaw and Joel Robles to leave the club.

The club’s first pre-season friendly is against Man United on Wednesday (12 July).
