Davinson Sanchez set to leave Tottenham after difficult season
Spurs looking to rebuild under Ange Postecoglou
Davinson Sanchez is expected to quit Tottenham this summer after a trying season in which his own fans booed him.
The Colombian made a club-record transfer when he joined Spurs from Ajax in the summer of 2017 for a reported £42 million. However, he has struggled for form and playing time in recent seasons, and his contract only has one year left on it.
Loan agreements Aranut Danjuma and Clement Lenglet have departed the team, and Lucas Moura has been discharged.
Harry Kane, however, is expected to stay this summer after Manchester United ended their interest. The England captain was United’s primary target but Spurs insist Kane will not be sold to a Premier League rival under any circumstances.
Real Madrid is rumored to have reduced their interest as they consider moving for Kylian Mbappe.
New manager Ange Postecoglou officially takes over on July 1st as Spurs look to rebuild following what was a difficult season for the club.
