The Spurs executive has already emphasized the advantages of the club’s participation in the significant contract revealed this afternoon.
Daniel Levy, the chairman of Tottenham, has reaffirmed his commitment to reinvesting in the football team any proceeds from the club’s collaboration with the National Football League (NFL).
This afternoon, Spurs made an announcement on the expansion of their agreement with the NFL, which now refers to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the “Home of the NFL in the UK.”
The stadium will continue to host two games per season, with the Baltimore Ravens hosting the Tennessee Titans on the following Sunday, October 15, and the Jacksonville Jaguars hosting the Buffalo Bills on October 8 this year.
With the NFL paying a per-game rental charge for the use of the stadium and enabling Tottenham to keep any revenues from the sale of food, beverages, and merchandise during the matches, it is expected to generate a significant amount of income for the club.
Levy may use the deal to raise additional funds to bolster manager Ange Postecoglou’s team after spending heavily on the summer transfer market to get players like James Maddison, Pedro Porro, and Brennan Johnson.
Since the Australian’s hiring in the summer, Spurs have not suffered a league defeat and are currently second in the Premier League following three victories in their first four games.
And Levy has already emphasized his commitment to help Postecoglou’s team make a strong bid for European football after they were denied it for the first time since 2010 by using the funds earned from the relationships with the NFL.
In order to realize our larger vision for the stadium and create a destination for sports and entertainment in London, our cooperation with the NFL has been essential, according to Levy.

When Spurs play newly promoted Sheffield United this weekend, Postecoglou will be hoping to keep up the chase after their outstanding start to the season against current champions Manchester City.
